STORY OF KEN
Kev Story-
“I used to hate my feet.
When you’re sleeping outside, they’re the first thing to freeze. You never have
enough socks. You get blisters, infections, and people stare when your shoes are
worn out.
But at Covenant House, the first thing they gave me was a clean pair. I still
remember how they felt warm, thick, like somebody actually thought about me. It
wasn’t just a sock. It was the start of me getting my dignity back.
That’s why I joined this campaign.
We made these socks to be better stronger, warmer, meant to move with you.
Just like the youth we’re fighting for. Every pair you buy helps fund a $500 living
stipend for a young person trying to stay safe and housed someone like I was
just last year.”
— Kev, 20, Campaign Organizer & Former Covenant House Resident
